In just under an hour, you will have the opportunity to get a quick check in with Velina, who will cater your session to your very specific needs and the treatment will be personalized to give you the most out of your time. Velina has the ability to assess her client’s needs quickly through her intake process.

Her hands-on work has been called “the best ever!”, she has been called “Dr. V” and “Golden Hands” and much more. The treatments are done fully clothed and she has aromatherapy as well as audio-visual technology that will take you deep into your “power nap”. She uses various tools and techniques based out of her highly diverse training. No two sessions look alike.

Velina began her career as a medical social worker alongside her personal journey with chronic conditions which led her to seeking outside of traditional medicine. She found herself loving the medical field but saw the limitations and knew she needed to explore the riches of holisitic medicine. During her studies at Naropa University, the only accredited Tibetan Buddhist university in the US, she discovered a whole new world of healing from every corner of the universe. While obtaining her Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, she made a choice to take a nontraditional direction and devote her last year and internship studying with Korean healing master’s to deepen her knowledge of hands on healing, as well as active meditations, yoga, qigong, herbal and plant medicine, eastern philosophies and more. She went on to obtain a certification in massage therapy, holistic stress management instruction, and life coach certification. This led to her opening a holistic practice in Boulder in 2005 offering a plethora of services. Velina has continued to explore and learn throughout her 15 years in private practice. She believes her gifts were a divine appointment and that she is divinely guided by her great grandma who was a healer from Mexico.
